Birthday Boys and Sprint Quali.

Well, it's Saturday morning, and first and foremost I would like to make a special greeting to Gernot, who turns 24 today....

So whats on the plan today - well we have the sprint quali starting at 15h00. Unfortunately I'm not sure if there will be live results, but the organising team has promised us there will be. Here the address : http://www.woc2007.org.ua/live/!

We have three runners on the start, our first athlete Martin "Bindi" Binder hits the start line at 15:12 and is expected to hit the finish line more or less about 13 to 14 minutes later. Our second runner, Jan "the headband" Zazgornik will be heading off into the WOC 2007 at 15:15 and is also expected to arrive at the finish at around 15:28 / 15:29. Our last and strongest runner, Gernot "Kerschi / Birthday boy" Kerschbaumer will leave the start box at 15:39, and last on the list, at the same time as Emil "World Champion" Wingstedt. Now that can only be a good sign. Kerschi is expect at the finish shortly after Emil (very shortly)!

The course are 2.9 km long with 85 hm Climb, with just 11 or 12 controls on each course. Winning time is expected to be around 13 minutes and I'm confident that all our athletes have a very good chance of qualifying. The weather is hot with blue skies all round.
